It is quite sad , but common,  that most of couples at the end of their joint life are more interested in the others estate.  So you should get  informed about the provisions of the legislation , take all lawful and proteective measures and , most of all, in order to avoid future disputes ,  define a course of action, agree and regulate  with your spouse , about your estate property, your joint  personal estate , your expenses, and your acquisitions. And  if something goes wrong, in case of a separation or a divorce, claim what is lawfully yours.
